For nearly 30 years, the Partners in Excellence (PIE) Scholarship Program has been investing in the youth of Baltimore. PIE is a ministry that has been prioritized by Archbishop William Lori and his predecessors, and the program continues to be championed particularly strongly by Bishop Parker, a PIE Board member and vocal advocate.

Since the Partners In Excellence Scholarship Program was established in 1996, the initiative has inspired long term participation from a variety of Partners. Several corporate, foundation and individual philanthropies have supported PIE for over a decade, including a handful since PIE’s inception. Because of the ongoing support of our donors, many families are also able to commit long-term to our schools. Check out this video to hear a little more about why PIE has inspired such a dedicated following.
The success of our students has remained consistent for nearly 30 years. Strong attendance rates, excellent classroom performance and high graduation rates tell a story of students who recognize the opportunity given to them and are making the most of their opportunity.
